HUMID/FEW T’STORMS: Thursday’s system has stalled just to our south, and this brings the chance for a few showers or thunderstorms through Friday. The morning is a muggy and warm start, with patchy areas of fog and haze. The fog burns off through the morning, and we’re left with partly sunny skies through the day. A stray shower is possible during the morning, but a better chance for a few showers and thunderstorms is during the afternoon. It’s still a bit humid as well. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s.
SUMMERY WEEKEND: A typical summery, sunny weekend is ahead for the region! Both Saturday and Sunday feature abundant sunshine. Plenty of warming takes place through this time. Highs are in the middle to upper 80s Saturday, and then push 90 degrees on Sunday. Humidity levels slowly nudge up as well through Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: Monday our next system slowly approaches. It’s still hot with added clouds. An afternoon shower or thunderstorm is possible. Expect high temperatures near 90 degrees once again. The front finally crosses through Tuesday. It’s warm on Tuesday, and the humidity lingers, along with the isolated shower or thunderstorm chance. Temperatures fall back into the 80s. Wednesday and Thursday bring partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures.
Have a great weekend!
