MORE SUNSHINE FOR THURSDAY
High pressure continues to dominate Thursday keeping the pleasant weather around. Sunshine, comfortable, and highs running a few degrees warmer in the lower and middle 80s. Clouds increase in the evening and overnight as the next frontal system arrives. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon Friday but nothing widespread. Highs are warmer in the middle 80s and you’ll notice the humidity more as it increases ahead of the system.
FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
The front pushes well south allowing high pressure to build in bringing a great holiday weekend. Plenty of sunshine is expected both days with highs in the lower and middle 80s.
SHOWERS FOR FIREWORKS NOW POSSIBLE
We are tracking low pressure, which now looks to bring a threat for showers late Monday into early Tuesday. Most of the area is dry with plenty of sunshine mixing in and out of the clouds during the day. In the evening, there is a possibility for showers to spread in before sunset, causing wet conditions for fireworks. Showers will linger into early Tuesday then move out and off the coast as the low pulls away. We will continue to track the system and bring the latest. Highs are dependent on the low but for now, it looks like temperatures warm to the middle 80s Monday, and upper 80s Tuesday.
