CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – A York County woman is arrested she is caught driving while under suspension and then lying about her identity to police.
On Sunday, June 26, Upper Allen Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer observed the driver and passenger switch seats before he approached the vehicle. An investigation revealed that Destiny Lindsey-Boccia, 20, was driving on a suspended driver’s license and she did not want to get cited for that offense. Therefore, she tried switching seats and when that did not work, she provided a false identification to police.
Upper Allen Police arrested Lindsey-Boccia on the spot. Charges include, False Identification to Law Enforcement and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.
She faces a preliminary hearing late this month.
