LANCASTER, Pa. – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office released an app through sheriffapp.com. They say the goal of the app is to make communication between the community and the sheriff’s office easier. Through the app people can submit a tip, search inmates, look up information on sex offenders, find a job with the department and see a list of Lancaster County’s Most Wanted.
“I think this app will actually make more people contact us. There`s going to be a lot of information sharing that is on this app that they can communicate with us and we can reach out to the community and give them information that they need to have,” said Sheriff Mark Reese.
The app is free and available by searching “Lancaster County Sheriff”.
