YORK COUNTY, Pa. – The York County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in a fatal workplace accident as Jeffrey Lee Small . Small was operating a tractor trailer and lowboy with a crane on the back with a co-worker. During the process of unloading the crane Small became pinned under the tractor trailer and died. It happened shortly after 10 a.m. Friday at Eastern Caisson Corporation, in the 8100 block of Intersection Road, Glen Rock in Manheim Township.
An autopsy revealed Small’s cause of death was due to multiple blunt force trauma and his death was ruled accidental by the York County Coroner’s Office.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) and Southwestern Regional Police are investigating Small’s death.
