SOUTH LONDONDERRY TWP, Lebanon, Pa.- Police in Lebanon say Kelly Urban called 911 early Sunday morning, saying she just shot her husband.

Just before 1:00 a.m., officers arrived  at 2703 Horseshoe Pike, Apartment A, in Campbelltown and found 25-year-old David Urban suffering from a gunshot wound.

According to a search warrant, the first officer on scene told a Lebanon County dispatcher to tell Kelly Urban to put the firearm down and come out of her apartment with her hands up.

A few moments later Kelly came out of the residence with her hands up and she was visibly crying and upset, court documents state.

According to the warrant, Kelly had blood on her hands and she told the officer that she shot him in “self-defense.” She claimed that David choked her.

The officer asked Kelly where her husband was and she told him “he was upstairs and barely breathing.”

When officers went upstairs into the apartment, court documents say, they found David Urban, lying on the floor, on his back, gasping for air. Police say David was shot in his abdomen and there was blood on his shirt and floor.

According to court documents, a pistol was found lying on a kitchen counter.

David Urban was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

So far, no charges have been filed against Kelly Urban.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by South Londonderry Township Police and the Lebanon County Detective Bureau police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at (717) 272-2054.
