YORK CITY, Pa.–A slow-moving, oversized load will be moving through York and West York Borough starting at 6 p.m. tonight.
Edwards Moving and Rigging will be transporting two oversized boilers through the western section of York City. The boilers will be traveling with police escort south along the 100 block of North Hartley Street from the rail yard next to Precision Components to West Market Street. The load will continue west on Market Street into West York Borough.
Authorities are warning motorists that road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect along the route.
Drivers are urged to avoid the West Market Street corridor until 7:30 p.m.
