BRIEF BREAK FROM HUMIDITY
Morning lows are back into the 60s, and a much more comfortable morning begins our weekend as drier air settles in.
High temperatures will not be as hot in the middle to upper 80s. Clouds bubble up quickly during the day and a stray shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out, otherwise, plenty of dry hours to enjoy the outdoors. Skies clear overnight allowing lows to drop into the 60s again. We are heating things up by the second half of the weekend and the humidity will climb too. High pressure brings sunshine and highs near 90. Expect the day to remain dry.
NEXT WEEK
We begin the week hot and sticky. Highs climb to the lower 90s. The next front arrives and brings showers and thunderstorms late in the day towards evening. Lows are warm in the 70s Tuesday morning. The threat for thunderstorms continues for the early part of the day then clouds break up and more comfortable air settles in. Wednesday is our next best July day with low humidity and highs in the middle 80s. A ridge of high pressure builds in from the west allowing the heat and humidity to slowly return. Highs are near 90 under sunny skies Thursday and back to the lower to middle 90s Friday.
