Suspect identified in Lancaster City stabbing

LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster City Police have identified a suspect in a weekend stabbing.  Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Jonathan Joseph Cameron, charging him with Criminal Attempt Homicide and Aggravated Assault.

Cameron allegedly  stabbed a man at about 6:35 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Lenox Lane and E. Grant Street. The victim suffered a laceration to his face and a stab wound to his torso.  Police say Cameron and the victim know each other.

Cameron does not have a fixed address and is believed to be homeless.
