TRACKING THUNDERSTORMS: Even though we’ll have partly sunny skies on Monday, scattered showers and thunderstorms cross over us from west to east between 2 and 8 P.M. Most of the storms will happen between 2 and 5 P.M. If you get one of those storms, expect heavy rain and gusty winds. Dry weather returns Tuesday.
90S CONTINUE: After a weekend in the 90s, we get more of the same on Monday. Look for afternoon highs in the mid to upper 90s. Add the oppressive-feel outside, and it will feel like the 100s Monday afternoon. As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory. At least some of us get evening storms to cool off.
SLIGHTLY “COOLER”: Monday evening’s thunderstorms come with a weak cold front. How weak is it you say? It’s so weak…that it only “cools” us a few degrees. Instead of upper 90s on Tuesday, we get mid 90s. It does chip away at the humidity a bit. So, it won’t feel as oppressively humid on Tuesday, but it will still feel humid.
MORE 90S: The humid weather and the 90s continue through Friday. You’ll see sunny skies all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. While we spend most of Thursday partly sunny, some of us briefly turn cloudy in the afternoon and evening. Blame a few hit-or-miss thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening for that.
MORE THUNDERSTORMS: We get more widespread thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening. These storms come with another weak cold front. At least this front knocks us down to the mid 80s for next weekend.
