CARLISLE, Pa. – A former hotel housekeeper is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking that included a can a soup from a guest.
On Friday, July 15, just before 11 p.m., Carlisle Borough Police responded to a report of a theft at a hotel on S. Hanover Street.
A guest told police that her medication and a can of Campbell’s soup was stolen from her room at the hotel. An investigation revealed that former housekeeper, Bonita Douglas, 21, of Carlisle had stolen the items while cleaning the room.
