President Obama Returns To The White House

Now that presidential conventions are over, and respective nominees have officially been endorsed, registered voters can weigh their November General Election decision.

The ballot, at this point, will include the following nominees:

Democrat Hillary Clinton

Republican Donald Trump

Green Party Jill Stein

Libertarian Gary Johnson

While the focus has been solely on who the nominees will be in November, many outstanding policy issues remain to be addressed. The U.S. economy grew 1.2 percent in the second quarter, according to the U.S. Commerce Department, slightly better than throughout the winter, when the economy was extremely sluggish, growing by only .8 percent.

The US economy has added over 1 million jobs this year, and unemployment is roughly at 4.9 percent. Wage growth has picked up momentum but it is still well behind its pre-recession pace, CNN reported.

The economy, among many other issues that range from domestic terrorism to social issues, will be handed over to the next president.
