LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP., Pa.-- A Lancaster County couple who allegedly "gifted" their teenage daughter to get out of financial distress are expected to be in court for their preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon.

Daniel and Savilla Stolztfus face charges for endangering the welfare of children, after police say they gifted their 14-year old daughter to Lee Kaplan, of Bucks County, years ago after he helped them financially.

In June, authorities raided Kaplan's home, and found the girl who is now 18 years old, along with 12 other children. Police say two of the children, the girl had fathered to Kaplan.

Kaplan is facing several charges including statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and corruption of a minor and unlawful endangerment.

The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:45 pm Tuesday in Bucks County. All three remain in jail at the Bucks County Prison.
