LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – A Denver Borough man is arrested after he attempts to rob the same borough pharmacy for the second time this week.

Daniel J. Greco; Jr., 27,  was charged with Robbery, Criminal Attempt to Commit Robbery and Theft by Unlawful Taking after two separate incidents at Anderson’s Pharmacy, 334 Main Street.

At about 3:10 p.m. this afternoon, East Cocalico Police Officers responded to the pharmacy for a report of an attempted robbery.  It was determined that Greco had approached the store owner and demanded Xanax.  The owner confronted Greco, who then ran out of the store without taking anything.

Several citizens witnessed Greco leaving the store and alerted police.  Officers found him a short time later in an alley behind the business.  Greco was positively identified with the help of surveillance photos and evidence found on his person.
