Presidential Nominee Donald Trump is known for not mincing words.

After having a baby removed from his rally in Virginia on Tuesday for crying, Trump moved on to speak about his previous stops on the campaign trail.

According to the Morning Call, Trump said that upstate New York was “a disaster area” and that when flying into Harrisburg for a rally in Mechanicsburg on Tuesday, “it looked like a war zone, where you [once had] these massive plants.”

Joyce Davis, the Director of Communications for the City of Harrisburg, released the following statement that was tweeted out by Asawin Suebsaeng:

State Senator, Ron Teplitz, who represents the city, defended the city. “If he had made the point that our cities have challenges and we need to bring manufacturing back to our country, I think most people would agree with that,” Teplitz said. “But it’s the insulting nature of it that makes it seem like it is a uniquely Harrisburg problem, which is just flat-out incorrect.”

In fact, the Harrisburg region includes some of Pennsylvania’s fastest-growing counties. Trump spoke in Cumberland County on Monday, which has added more residents over 2010-2014 than all but four other counties.
