YORK COUNTY, Pa. – Wolfgang Candy Company, one of America’s oldest family-owned confection companies, is expanding its York County manufacturing operation.

The company recently completed the purchase of a new plant located in Loganville and is making several investments into the North York facility to handle business growth.

“The expansion comes as a result of significant growth in our contract manufacturing business” explained, Ben McGlaughlin, CEO at Wolfgang.

The company currently manufactures Wolfgang branded products and products for other confectionery and snack food companies as a growing part of its operations.

“The additional sales volume combined with the new facility will produce approximately 30 plus jobs in the York County region by the end of 2016” said Sam Miller, COO at Wolfgang.

“We are looking for qualified production personnel who want a career with a growing organization whose brand is synonymous with high quality confection products. We are looking forward to adding these new positions and people to the Wolfgang team.”

Products will roll off the new production line at the Loganville plant before the end of the year.
