Coroner IDs man killed in Penn Township crash

PENN TWP., Pa.–An elderly Maryland man died Saturday after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash along the 900 block of Baltimore Street in Penn Township, according to the York County coroner’s office.

Investigators say 76-year-old Howard Miller lost control of his vehicle and hit a utility pole just before 6 a.m. Saturday.

Miller was taken to York Hospital and later died.

Authorities say Miller was a volunteer firefighter in Manchester, Maryland.

The crash is being investigated by Penn Township police.
