MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa.– A man has been cited with Cruelty to Animals after leaving several cats behind in his previous residence with no food or water.
On August 7, an officer responded to the 1100 block of E. King St. for a report of abandoned cats in an apartment. The officer learned that the previous residents had been evicted on August 1, and that several cats had been left behind.
Upon entering the apartment, the officer found four deceased cats with only one living. They had been left without food, water, or air conditioning.
The former resident, Jeremy Palm, 25, has been cited with four counts of Cruelty to Animals.
