HARRISBURG, Pa- Harrisburg police are investigating multiple shots being fired after two men crashed into a tree along N. 17th street.

According to police, officers were called to multiple shots being fired in the area of N. 17th street and Boas Streets just before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived they found a car  slammed into a tree along the 900 block of N. 17th street. A 26-year-old male was lying on the ground next to the crashed car.

According to police, a crowd had formed and neighbors were giving him CPR. He was transported to Hershey Medical Center and is currently listed in critical condition.

A passenger was also found standing near the vehicle with multiple facial injuries he received during the crash. The passenger told police that they were driving when they heard multiple gunshots being fired. When they attempted to flee the area they crashed into a tree.

At this time, police do not have a description of the suspect.
