QUIET END TO WEEK: The end of the week is quiet before shower and thunderstorm chances return for the weekend. Friday is a fairly similar day to yesterday, minus the slight shower chance during the afternoon. In fact, expect plenty of sunshine the entire day, with only a few afternoon clouds at times. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. The humidity is still in place, so expect the stuffy feel to remain.

UNSETTLED WEEKEND: The next cold front crosses through during the weekend, bringing back the chance for more pop up showers and thunderstorms. Saturday brings only a few afternoon thunderstorms ahead of the cold front. It’s warm and humid, with temperatures in the middle to upper 80s. It’s a similar scenario Sunday, as the sluggish pattern continues. Scattered thunderstorms are likely as the front slowly crosses, with temperatures in the middle 80s.

RELIEF NEXT WEEK: The front exits the region overnight Sunday, bringing back drier conditions. A potent area of Canadian high pressure behind it draws in cooler and less humid air! Highs are in the 70s to near 80 degrees on Monday under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures on Tuesday are similar, in the middle 70s to 80 degrees with plenty of sunshine! Wednesday is still a wonderful day, and temperatures nudge up slightly. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s. Thursday is even warmer, with temperatures back to seasonable averages in the lower to middle 80s.

Have a great weekend!
