Harrisburg, PA – A base repair operation by PennDOT maintenance crews will restrict traffic to a single lane on northbound Interstate 83 this week in southern York County, daily between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM.
On Tuesday, Aug. 23, maintenance crews will be working in the right lane on northbound I-83, between Exit 4 (Shrewsbury) and Exit 8 (Glen Rock).
The road work on Wednesday, Aug. 24, will move to the right lane between Exit 8 and Exit 10 (Loganville).
On Thursday, Aug. 25, base repair will be underway in the right lane of I-83 between Exit 10 and Exit 14 (Leader Heights Road/Route 182).
This work schedule may be affected by weather. Motorists are asked to be alert to this operation, to obey work zone signs, and to slow down when approaching and traveling through the work zone – for their safety as well as the safety of the work crews.
