YORK, Pa.-- Parents have become more and more involved in their children's lives over the years.

The term "helicopter parents" refers to parents "hovering" or closely monitoring their child's activities, interests, schooling and work life. Many times, these parents may take some of their children's responsibility on their own shoulders, and overstep their bounds.

OfficeTeam, a staffing service that provides services specialized in placing professionals in part or full-time roles, recently released a survey that suggests that mom and dad may be overstepping their bounds when it comes to their child's job search.

Dianna Shafer, from OfficeTeam in Harrisburg, is stopping by the set of FOX43 Morning News to give advice on how to properly handle a job search and overbearing parents.
