TRACKING THUNDERSTORMS: Today and tonight, we'll see just a few showers or thunderstorms. While most of us stay dry, you'll get some heavy rain if you get one of those storms. After a dry Friday and Saturday, we'll get scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon.
HUMID WEATHER: We stay humid ever single day in the 7-day forecast as highs hover near 90 each day.
SUNNY SKIES: Let's call today partly sunny. On Friday, we start out with a lot of clouds in the skies. Then, quickly turn sunny by Friday afternoon. Enjoy lots of sunny skies on Saturday. On Sunday through Thursday, we'll have partly sunny skies, but when you get one of the those afternoon storms, it will block out the sun for an hour.
HEAD'S UP: Two of the computer weather models we use to forecast show a hurricane or tropical storm making landfall late next week around Texas and Louisiana. If that verifies, we have a shot at getting the remnants at some point during the Labor Day weekend. Don't worry about changing your plans or anything like that. It's too far out to take this forecast to the bank. We just wanted to give you a heads up, and we'll keep you updated.
