LEBANON, Pa. – A Lebanon City man is hospitalized with non-life threatening wounds after he was stabbed along a city street over the weekend.  It happened just before midnight in the 1300 block of Shuey  Street.

The 27 year old victim told police that he was walking home from North Cornwall Township when he was approached by an unknown male in a grey “Jeep” style vehicle.  He told police the male said something to him then got out of the vehicle and approached him.

Before he knew what was happening he felt pain on his right buttocks and thigh area.  The victim said the suspect returned to the vehicle and drove away in an unknown direction.  The victim did not provide a description of the suspect.  Due to what was said to the victim it appeared the suspect knew the victim and specifically targeted the victim calling him by name.

The victim was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital ER for several stab wounds to the right buttock and thigh area.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Lebanon City Police Department at (717) 272-2054 or Crime Stoppers at (717) 270-9800.
