East Pennsboro elementary school dismissing early due to mold problem

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. –  East Pennsboro School District is dismissing students early this afternoon at an elementary school because of a mold problem.

School officials issued the following statement on the District’s webpage:

“Due to an isolated mold incident found in one of the elementary school classrooms East Pennsboro Elementary School will be dismissing today at 3:00. We will release more information on the incident shortly with the status of the school opening tomorrow.”

All students in East Pennsboro area school district returned to school on Wednesday after being out of class for several days due to mold.

The elementary school students went back Tuesday and on Wednesday the middle and high school students returned to class.
