YORK CITY, Pa- A York City man is wanted for beating his 2-year-old stepdaughter for peeing her pants multiple times.

Aaron Stewart, 29, of the 200 block of W. Maple Street, faces charges of aggravated assault and simple assault after police say he admitted to hitting the girl for urinating in her underwear.

According to court documents, the incident took place on May 15th when the mother, Jasmine Estrella, left her daughter in the care of Stewart during the day while she went to work. Estrella and Stewart were married during the time of the incident.

Police were notified two days later, when the little girl showed up to the York Hospital with injuries all over her body, including a bump/bruise to the right of her forehead, a bruised left cheek, scratches and bruises to her lower back, and extremities and bruises on her buttocks.

According to court documents, police interviewed Stewart three times before he admitted to beating the girl. During the first interview Stewart denied ever hitting the girl. On the second interview, Stewart admitted to spanking the girl once after she peed in her underwear twice.

It wasn’t until the third interview, on that Stewart admitted to beating the girl more than once because he lost his patience because he believed that the girl was peeing in her pants multiple time on purpose, court documents state.

A warrant has been issued for Stewart’s arrest.
