LANCASTER, Pa. – A 19-year-old is Lancaster City Police’s 42nd gun related arrest this year. Just before 1 o’clock this afternoon an officer on patrol in the area of S. Queen Street and Church Street observed a male riding a bicycle. The rider and the bicycle matched the suspect description in a previous theft from vehicle that occurred earlier this week.

The officer was able to stop the male along the 400 block of S. Queen Street. The suspect was identified as Joshua Leggions, of the 200 block of  E. Ross Street. During a pat-down, a handgun was found in one of Leggions jacket pockets.  At age 19, Leggions cannot carry a firearm in concealed fashion as he is not eligible, to obtain a concealed carry permit. The handgun was a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol.  He was also found to be in possession of Oxycodone.

Leggions was charged with Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
