HARRISBURG, Pa. — Beginning Sep. 1, 2016, SP+ will begin booting vehicles with three or more outstanding citations in accordance with the City of Harrisburg Ordinance.

SP+, a diverse provider of professional parking, ground transportation, facility maintenance, security and event logistics services to real estate owners and managers in a wide array of markets, previously announced in April 2016, a program where vehicles with three or more outstanding warrants would be booted.

To avoid booting and subsequent fines, Park Harrisburg strongly advises drivers with outstanding parking fines and fees to contact the Magisterial District Judge’s Office where the original infraction or infractions occurred prior to Sept. 1, 2016, to make a payment.

Once a vehicle is immobilized, the owner must pay all outstanding fines and fees to the District Justice’s Office, as well as an additional $75 immobilization fee to have the boot removed. The boot removal fee must be paid at the Park Harrisburg Office at 223 Walnut Street, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cash, Money Order and all major credit cards are accepted. If full payment is not made within 48 hours of booting, the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
