LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Austin S. Long, 21, of Ephrata, is arrested and charged in two separate incidents involving theft last month.
Ephrata Police charged Long with Theft after he allegedly took a 12 foot construction trailer on August 25 from an Ephrata construction/remodeling business and then sold it for scrap at a local recycling business. The trailer’s estimated value was $1,500. The trailer has since been recovered and returned to the business.
Then today Ephrata Police filed charges against Long in the alleged theft on August 29th of a tip jar containing $7.00 from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the 800 Block of East Main Street in the borough.
Long was arraigned today on Burglary and Theft charges.
