MANCHESTER TWP., Pa.,– The man charged for allegedly shooting a Northern York County Regional Police officer will face trial for several charges including assault of a law enforcement officer and criminal attempt criminal homicide.

Trev Jackson appeared in court on Thursday morning for his preliminary hearing before Judge Jeffrey Oberdorf.  According to prosecutors, on November 22, 2015, Jackson fired multiple shots at Northern York County Regional Police officer, Lynn Anderson, after Anderson stopped Jackson for swerving in and out of traffic and failing to use turning signals.

Jackson was arrested in Philadelphia earlier this year after being on the run for nearly five months.

In court, Officer Anderson did testify. Anderson said he suffered gun powder burns on his face.

An arraignment is scheduled for October 7th.
