Tracking weekend rain
DRY FRIDAY: Enjoy the great weather on Friday. Expect low humidity, highs in the upper 70s, and sunny skies.
WEEKEND RAIN: We get the remnants of Hurricane Hermine on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, we’ll see a few showers, particularly in Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Adams, and Franklin Counties. Then, on Sunday, we’ll have steady rain for much of the day south of Harrisburg and east of the Susquehanna River in Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Adams, and Dauphin Counties. In Franklin, Perry, Mifflin, and Juniata Counties, you’ll see only a few showers. In fact, we’ll spend most of the day dry in those counties.
DRY MONDAY: We’ll spend Labor Day dry, and sunshine even breaks through the clouds in the afternoon. So, your outdoor plans are in great shape. Highs jump up to the mid 80s, and it will feel humid.
90S RETURN: Even though we spend the weekend in the 70s, the heat returns next week. We grab 88 on Tuesday and 90 on Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll have sunny, but humid weather all of those days. Scattered showers and storms roll over us Thursday afternoon to take away the heat and humidity just in time for next weekend.
