YORK CITY, Pa- The York County Coroner’s Office has released the autopsy results in the ‘suspicious’ death of a 66-year-old man who was found dead inside his home Friday afternoon.

According to the Coroner’s officer, Terry Leonard died from a stab wound to the chest and his death has now been ruled a homicide.

Officials say around Noon Friday, EMS were called to the 600 block of West King Street for a possible medical event/natural death. Upon investigation, the death was considered ‘suspicious’ and  York City police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m.

So far there is no word on who reported finding the body. Police remained on the scene for several hours collecting evidence
