Dirt bike rider killed in York crash
YORK, Pa.– A Red Lion man was killed after crashing a dirt bike in York on Sunday afternoon.
According to York City Police, 22-year old David Telp was operating a motorized dirt bike on Prospect Street. Around 1:00 p.m., a vehicle collided with the dirt bike Telp was operating in the area of Vander Avenue. Telp was found injured and unresponsive and was taken to York Hospital. Telp died from his injuries a short time later.
An autopsy has been scheduled for 11:00 Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
There is no word on the condition of the other driver. York City Police continue to investigate.
