GET READY FOR MORE HEAT AND HUMIDITY
It turns hotter Wednesday under partly cloudy skies. Highs are near 90 again but the increasing humidity will make it feel hotter. With the added moisture and warmer temperatures, a few late day thunderstorms are possible. There is a marginal chance storms could contain hail and gusty winds. Storm Prediction Center has us in a marginal or low risk for severe weather.
By Thursday, it is feeling more sticky and uncomfortable outside. Highs are hotter in the lower 90s. If spending time outdoors, it will feel like upper 90s because of the higher humidity. While most should stay dry, a stray thunderstorm or two can’t be ruled out later in the day. It is hot to end the week with highs still around 90 degrees. It continues muggy to oppressive right into the start of the weekend.
We turn up the heat for the beginning of the weekend. Highs jump to the lower and middle 90s. The next system may trigger a few thunderstorms during the afternoon. With the front to our south Sunday, it is cooler and less humid. Plenty of blue skies and sunshine and not as hot, with highs in the lower 80s.
We continue the break from the heat and humidity early next week. Plenty of sunshine for both Monday and Tuesday. Afternoon high temperatures warm to above seasonable averages in the lower and middle 80s.
