Woman forced to stop after man rams her car robbed at gunpoint


YORK COUNTY, Pa. – A York County woman is reportedly robbed at gunpoint after a man  rams her vehicle.

The incident began on Sunday, September 4 at 7:30 p.m. on Dew Drop Road in York Township.  As the victim was  approaching the intersection of Dew Drop Road and Powder Mill Road, an unknown color or type SUV struck her car several times in the rear bumper.

The victim exited her car and walked to the rear of her car to assess the damage.  The male driver of the SUV exchanged some words with her and motioned to pull across the street.  The victim did so, and started to make a phone call when the driver of the SUV approached her.

Unbeknownst to the victim, the suspect had pulled a mask over his face, and then pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money.  The victim gave the suspect the cash that she had with her.  The suspect also stole her cell phone.

The robbery is described as a Hispanic male with a light complexion in his late 20’s-early 30’s.
