Woman killed in East Hanover Township crash

EAST HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A 27-year-old woman died late Monday in a single-vehicle crash in Dauphin County.

It happened around 10:13 p.m. along the 8600 block of Jonestown Road in East Hanover Township.

According to police reports, Allison J. Ferrara, 27, of Harrisburg, was driving west on Jonestown Road when her SUV  went off the road, hit  an embankment and overturned.

Ferrara was partially ejected from the vehicle. State police say she was not wearing her seat belt.

Ferrara was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where she was pronounce dead.
