MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A Georgia man was arrested Monday after state police found four pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Cumberland County, according to court documents.

Sammy O. Sole, 41, of Forest Park, Georgia , is charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to distribute marijuana, use, and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and other summary violations.

Troopers stopped Sole along Interstate 81 near mile marker 52 in Middlesex Township for having an illegible license plate. As investigators approached the vehicle, they smelled marijuana coming from inside the car, according to the criminal complaint.

Troopers discovered Sole had an active arrest warrant out of Georgia and was driving on a suspended license.

Authorities searched his vehicle and found a silver shoe box filled with marijuana in the trunk, according to the criminal complaint. The marijuana weighed approximately four pounds, court documents state.

Sole was arraigned and taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 12.
