FANNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Fire destroyed a storage shed in Franklin County on Thursday morning.

It broke out along 16000 Path Valley Road in Fannett Township shortly before 9:30 a.m. Fire officials tell FOX43 News that an employee at a gas station across the street spotted the flames and called 911.

It took emergency crews about a half hour to extinguish the flames.

The shed housed a tractor and some engines, according to fire officials at the scene. There was no electricity inside the shed. Investigators say no one had been inside the shed for about a week.

So far, no word on what caused the fire.

A fire marshal is investigating.
