NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa.– West Shore School District will be dismissing all schools early today due to heat concerns.

Ryan Argot from the Office of Federal Programs at West Shore School District released this statement:

Due to the continued high heat and humidity in our schools, all West Shore School District Schools will be dismissing early today, Friday, September 9.  Secondary schools will dismiss at 11:45 AM.  Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:45 PM.

There will be no PM kindergarten.  AM kindergarten students will stay in school until dismissal at 12:45 PM.  All schools will serve lunch today.  Lunch will be provided for AM kindergarten students.

After school activities are currently scheduled as planned.
