York Fair kicks off on Friday

York, Pa., -- The 251st York Fair kicks off on Friday and runs until September 18th. The fair features a variety of rides, food, and animals. Some of the fair exhibits include Goat Mountain, the Marvelous Mutts, the Sting Ray Encounter and the livestock in UTZ Arena.

On Thursday, the fair unveiled the 2016 Butter sculpture which displays 2 children and a rocket ship about to blast off. It symbolizes looking forward toward the future of agriculture for the next 250 years. It took 3 days to create and 400 lbs of butter.

The fair will host a number of different concerts including Chase Rice with Parmalee, the 'I Love the 90's Tour,' Tyler Farr, Jeff Dunham and Alabama.
