LANCASTER, Pa.– Officials with the School District of Lancaster plan to hold two meetings this week, to address concerns about a recent shooting incident. It happened Friday night while the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornadoes were playing the York High Bearcats at Small Field in York.

During the fourth quarter, gunshots were heard outside the stadium and two men were found with gunshot wounds. Police say those men had been arguing at the game and were escorted out of the stadium.

The incident put the venue on lockdown and resulted in the game being called early. In response, school officials in Lancaster have scheduled a pair of meetings to address student, parent and community concern.

The first meeting will be held Monday, September 12th at 8:30 a.m., at the JP McCaskey Auditorium. Students, parents and campus staff are welcome to attend.

A similar meeting will be held Tuesday, September 13th at 5:30 p.m., at the McCaskey East High School Auditorium. Parents and others from the community are invited to attend.
