WAYNE– Police responded to Vally Forge Military Academy for an incident Monday evening.
According to WTXF police say a student reported hearing gunshots around 6PM.
Several schools in the area were placed on lockdown including Cabrini University and Eastern University.
After searched buildings no victims or evidence of a shooting cold be found and the lockdown was lifted a little before 7PM.
It was determined the student had not heard gunshots, but simply someone popping bubble wrap nearby.
Valley Forge Military Academy and College is a boarding school with students of middle, high school and college age.
