MANCHESTER TWP., York County, Pa. — A school bus accident was reported just after7:00 am on Lewisberry Road near Mill Creek Road.
Central York School District says High School Bus 12 was involved in a collision with another vehicle during its normal morning bus run to the school. The collision happened on Lewisberry Road at Millcreek.
There were no major injuries at the scene as of this morning, although at least one person involved in the accident was taken for additional evaluation.
There were eight students on the bus at the time of the collision. Police, paramedics, parents of students and school district administrators responded to the scene. Parents/guardians transported students to school. Northern York Regional Police Department responded and we will await their accident report for additional details.
Durham Transportation will investigate both the driver and the bus, as is its protocol following an accident.
