Spring Garden Twp., York County, Pa. — Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of Hilltop Place on Friday September 09, 2016 at 7:38am for a reported burglary. The victims reported that someone had unlawfully entered their home sometime overnight and had taken several items, including cash, jewelry, electronics and keys to a car.  The car was then taken from the driveway.

Then at 8:05 am, police were called to a home in the 1400 block of Bee Tree Road for a reported burglary.  The victim reported that someone had unlawfully entered the home’s attached garage and removed electronics from a vehicle, which was parked inside the garage.

On Friday September 09, at 07:36 hours, police were called to the 500 block of Summit Terrace for a report of a theft from an automobile. The victim reported that someone had entered their unlocked vehicles sometime overnight and removed several items from one of the vehicles. One of the vehicles was parked in the driveway, the other vehicle was parked along Summit Terrace.At 3:40 pm on the same day, police received information of an attempted theft from an automobile that occurred in the 500 block of Villa Terrace. The victim reported that someone had entered one of their vehicles sometime overnight and rummaged through the vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the driveway at the time and was unlocked. The victim reported that nothing appeared to be missing at the time of the report.

On Saturday, September 10, 6:47 am, police were called to a home in the 100 block of S. Yale Street for a reported burglary and theft of two vehicles. The victim reported that someone had unlawfully entered their home sometime overnight and taken several items including electronics, cash, a wallet, a purse and car keys. Two vehicles were taken from the home; one had been parked in the driveway, the other had been parked on S. Yale Street in front of the home. At 7:02 am, police were called to a home in the 1600 block of First Avenue for a reported attempted burglary. The victim reported that someone had attempted to gain entry to the home through two separate windows. The actor(s) had torn a screen, gaining access to the window, and attempted to push the window up in two separate locations. They failed to gain entry to the home.

On Sunday, September 11 at 02:08 a.m. police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Mt. Rose Avenue for a report of an attempted theft from an automobile. The victim reported hearing a noise outside beside his home.  Upon investigating, he heard someone running north away from the house and found the interior dome light on inside his car which was parked in his driveway.  The victim reported that nothing appeared to be missing at this point.

On Sunday, September 11 at 3:48 a.m., police were called to a home in the 800 block of Grantley Court for a reported burglary and theft of an automobile.  The victim reported hearing the noise of jingling keys coming from the area of their kitchen.  Upon further investigation, the victim observed two male subjects standing in their kitchen and yelled out to them to get out of the house.  The victim then yelled out for her husband and began calling E911.  The actors fled the home to the rear and made their way to one of the victim’s cars and fled the scene in the victim’s car.  The victims reported that several other items were contained inside the vehicle including some sporting goods items and cash.

  • Wearing a Baseball Cap

  • Black Male
  • 15 Years Old – Approximate
  • 5’6″
  • Thin Build
  • Wearing  Black Sweat Pants and a White A-Style T-Shirt

On Tuesday, September 13, at 07:23 a.m. police were called to a home in the 600 block of Country Club Road for a report of a motor vehicle theft.  The victim reported that this vehicle was taken sometime overnight from the rear of his property.  The victim reported that his vehicle had been parked in Horn Alley, behind their home, next to his garage.    Further investigation found broken glass where the vehicle had been parked indicating that the vehicle may have been forcibly entered.

On Tuesday, September 13, at 11:16 a.m, police were called to a home in the 1500 block of E. Market Street for a report of a motor vehicle theft.  The victim reported that unknown actor(s) had removed a Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle from his property.
