WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- There are a few unusual attractions to catch your eyes and ears at the York Fair this week.

One interesting character is a singing cowboy, decked out from head-to-toe in all pink.

Anyone who goes to the York Fair its nearly impossible to miss the pink cowboy. He kicks off each day with a song.

When Dennis Lee sings the national anthem, it stops fair goers in their tracks.

Once he pounds the pavement at the fair, it's Lee's pink clothes and bold personality that captures people's attention.

One look at Lee, and it gets people talking. Except, he's not just chatting about his choice of color, but getting checked for breast cancer.

"With early detection, and the checkups, and it saves lives, so you come by me, get a smile, and a song," Lee said.

"Every day with me girl, is sweeter than the day before, that's sounds pretty good," Lee sings.

"It's just a way for me, in my small way to give a little information about it," Lee added.

Lee travels around the country visiting different fairs. He enjoys talking to strangers, because many share their own personal experience with breast cancer.

Visitors to the fair can hear Lee sing the National Anthem just before 1 pm.  Anyone who wants to meet him should just keep an eye out. He's hard to miss.
