Harrisburg police seek suspect in afternoon shooting, reward offered

HARRISBURG, Pa. –  Harrisburg  City Police responded just before 1:30 p.m. this afternoon to 19th & Boas Streets for a report of multiple shots fired.

Information received was that a victim was being transported to the hospital.  Officers met with the victim who suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh.  The victim is cooperative and being treated at the hospital.  He is expected to recover.

The shooter is a black male possibly in his late teens to early 20’s, 6 feet tall, with his hair cut short on the sides but tall on top, and wearing bright orange sneakers.

Anyone that with any information regarding this incident is asked to call police at (717) 255-3118.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
