Man accused of threatening woman, child with gun in Mountville

MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — A Mountville man is under arrest for allegedly threatening his girlfriend and he 2 year-old son with a gun. It happened on Friday, August 26th around 10pm. The victim told police her boyfriend, Zachary M. Ream, 31, of the 400 block of Talon Drive, was intoxicated. Ream sliced her vehicle’s tire when she tried to leave, then threatened her and her son with a gun. At one point Ream struck the female on the back of the head with the gun and hit the young boy in the eye causing bleeding and bruising to it, according to police.

Ream is charged with Terroristic Threats, (4) counts of simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and criminal mischief. He was arraigned at the Lancaster County Prison where he was committed on a million dollar bail.
