ADAMS COUNTY – Mechanical bull, a bounce house, dunk tank and obstacle course. Not the things usually associated with a high school football game. All four were part of a big pregame party for the community hosted by New Oxford before their home opener last Friday Night against Delone Catholic.

"Earlier this year, when Coach Bowman and our Athletic Director Brandon Renoll joined us, there was talk about bringing a community event to the football game," said Derek Romanoff. Romanoff is the Co-President of the New Oxford Boosters Club. "We really wanted to make it special for our kids and we hope that they all enjoyed themselves. After all is said and done, it's really our people, our family, our friends that have come out. That's what makes it exciting. We hope to do this next year and we hope to bring in even more people because we want the entire community coming in."
