YORK CITY, Pa- Police in York are investigating an early morning homicide after one man was shot in the chest.
The shooting happened just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday along the 600 block of Heiges Alley.
Police found 18-year-old Erick Hernandez suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to York Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
