YORK COUNTY, Pa- The Eastern York School District released a statement on a bomb threat that was found at the middle school Thursday morning.
The statement read:
“Eastern York Middle School students evacuated the school building at approximately 11:39 a.m. this morning, Thursday, September 22, 2016 because a written bomb threat was discovered. All middle school students have been evacuated to the Eastern York High School Performing Arts Center (PAC). The local police department has responded to the scene and will determine when it is safe for students and staff members to re-enter the building. It is not necessary for parents/guardians to pick up their middle school students at this time. Please see the district website for updates.”
